Do you have a question?
If we haven’t answered your question in the below Golf Cubs FAQs, please scroll down to submit a question form and we shall get back to you as soon as possible
Q. Is Golf Cubs a coaching programme?
A. Golf Cubs is not a coaching programme. It is a resource in the form of a games and activity magazine and e-learning platform for juniors and grown-ups to use outside of a natural golf environment i.e. at home, in the garden or on the park. The versatility of the resource means the ideas and games may also be adapted and used on a golf course or on a driving range if you wish to. You can find out more about the available resources here.
Q. What age would you recommend for Golf Cubs?
A. Whilst Golf Cubs has been designed with our younger children in mind (typically those aged, 5+), we have experienced juniors as young as 3 engaging in our Golf Cubs games and activity magazine, whilst older juniors who are beginners have also enjoyed the contents of these resources (ages 9-10).
With the recent release of Golf Cubs’ new board game, Race To 18, this is a little more advanced for the younger ones and so we recommend those age 7+ or those more familiar with golf. You can find out more about the available resources here.
Q. What level must my child be at to subscribe to Golf Cubs?
A. Golf Cubs is for anyone and everyone! It might have a recommended age of 5+, but it certainly doesn’t have a recommended playing ability or level. It has been designed with non-golfers in mind and provides an excellent opportunity to expose children to golf in a fun and light-hearted way whilst sharing the experience with family and friends.
Q. Where do I buy the equipment for my child to practice safely at home?
A. The Cubhouse Shop online stocks a range of junior golf equipment that is all safe for the home environment. We have an exciting ‘Tri-Golf Home Safe Kit’ that can be purchased, which includes clubs, balls, cones and flags. Just about everything you need to start the golfing journey and having fun!
If this is no longer available, you can either visit the ‘Grown-ups Crash-out‘ inside of The Den (this is a forum designed for parents to share their experiences and advice) or email us with your question at email@example.com and our PGA Professional coaches would be delighted to advise and help.
